WMT-5 fans are designed for pneumatic transportation of sawdust, shavings, flakes, pellets, paper clippings, dried, leather, plastics and other similar bulk materials.

The fan must not be used in explosive atmospheres or for transporting gases or substances that threaten to explode.

The device is not suitable for pumping air containing corrosive or viscous contaminants.

Application of the WMT-5 fan

The WMT-5 is used in such industries as lumbering, carpentry, furniture manufacturing, paper industry and plastic processing and recycling. The most common application for this model is the extraction of chips from a four-sided planer, a tracked multi-saw or from several machines generating smaller amounts of sawdust/chips. In smaller plants, WMT-5 fans often work as central sawdust extraction and transport sawdust from machines to the cyclone.

Features of the WMT-5 fan

Fans in stock are available in the figure shown in the photos (RD 0). Other figures (rotation and/or mirror image) are made to order (please contact us by phone or email).

Note: the outlet adapter for round cross section is included in the price of the fan. This should be taken into account when comparing offers.

The fan is standard equipped with spigots for sliding the pipe, however, we can adapt the inlet and/or outlet of the fan to connect the pipe with a banded edge or to connect the pipe equipped with a flange/ring for screwing on 8 screws.

WMT fans are most often fed from control cabinets of machining machines. If the fan is to be powered independently, we recommend using switches equipped with thermal protection included in our offer.

WMT fans are available in standard version (without additional marking) and in modified versions, described in the table below.
