Joining galvanized pipes with black steel pipes
In some situations, it is advantageous to use a portion of the installation in black steel (where more abrasive wear is expected) and the rest of the pipe in galvanized steel.
To connect the two pipe systems together, we recommend using split rings (counter-flanges). It presses the upturned end of the galvanized pipe against the ring with which the black steel pipe is terminated.
