Working in environments with combustible dust or volatile flammable substances requires equipment that meets the highest safety standards. We design ATEX explosion-proof transport fans (sawdust blowers) to efficiently move bulk materials or contaminated air, while minimizing the risk of sparks or overheating of working elements. We use designs adapted to the requirements of the ATEX directive, taking into account the right materials, proper grounding and precise balancing of rotors. Thanks to this, the devices maintain full efficiency in zones with the risk of explosion of wood dust, grain dust, or plastics. When selecting parameters, we take into account not only the required performance, but also the operating conditions - from the temperature of the medium to the degree of dustiness - to ensure continuous, safe and efficient operation of the installation.
The key element of an explosion-proof fan is its impeller, which is properly protected so as to reduce the risk of ignition of the air/dust mixture as much as possible. Our models use both a belt drive, which allows speed adjustment, and a direct drive. The housings are made of steel with high mechanical resistance, or, in the case of corrosive environments, stainless or acid-resistant steel. Each ATEX transport fan undergoes a series of tests, including vibration, gap and leakage control measurements, to ensure that it will operate reliably in demanding conditions. The seals and static discharge systems used are designed to ensure safety even in long-term operation in heavy-duty installations.
ATEX explosion-proof transport fans are used wherever air with an admixture of materials that can create an explosive atmosphere is transported. In the wood industry they are used to extract sawdust and shavings, in the recycling industry - to transport dusty plastic milling or so-called shredder. Appropriate selection of the diameter of the inlet and outlet, motor power and the shape of the impeller blades makes it possible to achieve high efficiency while complying with safety requirements. Our fans can operate both in stationary installations and in mobile systems, forming an integral part of extraction, filtration or pneumatic transport systems. Thanks to our individual approach to each project, we ensure that the delivered device will be fully compatible with the rest of the installation components and ready for many years of trouble-free operation.
