Cellular sluices are a key component of pneumatic conveying systems, responsible for the tight separation of system sections and/or precise metering of material. In our daily work, we know how important the reliability of this component is - its proper operation protects the system from pressure loss and ensures a smooth flow of raw material. The design of the sluices we offer is based on a robust body and rotor with chambers (cells), which, rotating, transfer a specific portion of material from one zone to another. This makes it possible not only to effectively transport sawdust, chips or granules, but also to control the amount of raw material directed to the next stage of the process. It is possible to use abrasion-resistant materials, which guarantees a long service life even when working with highly abrasive materials. We use seals of our own production, which protect against backflow of dust and minimize the risk of false air entering the system.
Cell feeders, often also called dispensers, perform a key function wherever it is necessary to maintain a constant flow of material while maintaining the appropriate operating parameters of the system. In our implementations, we use solutions that allow the rotor speed to be adjusted, which translates into the ability to adjust performance to current production needs. This is especially important in plants where raw materials of varying fraction and moisture content are processed - a cell feeder with properly selected parameters prevents blockages and maintains a constant work rate. We make models in both standard and explosion-proof (ATEX) versions, so we can ensure full safety of operation in environments with a higher risk of dust ignition. Each feeder undergoes thorough quality control and leakage tests, which allows us to provide equipment that meets the requirements of the most demanding industrial installations.
As a manufacturer, we know that there is no one-size-fits-all solution - each process line requires a different approach. Therefore, when designing sluices and cell feeders, we take into account the type of material being transported, its physical properties, working conditions and expected performance.
