Sawdust separator for WMT-1 fan (for bags fi 500)

The sawdust separator consists of two filter bags and two collection bags with a diameter of 500 mm and a body adapted for mounting directly to the WMT-1 fan. The fan is sold separately and is not included in the price of the separator.

Indications for safety and operation

The bag extraction device is suitable only for operation in environments without an explosive atmosphere. Do not use the unit for extracting explosive dust, light metals, materials containing oils or substances threatening to spontaneously ignite. The intended use includes materials of wood origin or plastics, among others:

• dry and moist sawdust,

• shavings and shavings,

• fine sanding residues of solid wood or wood-based panels,

• waste from cutting and milling of boards such as MDF, OSB, etc.,

• waste from veneering machines,

• shavings and dust from the machining of plastics,

• light milling of plastics.

The use of a bench dust collector in accordance with technical recommendations allows to maintain the continuous operation of machines and improves the overall working conditions within the machining stations.

Fan-mounted separators must operate under a canopy so that the filter bags do not get wet and lose capacity.

Bag separators must not be used in explosive atmospheres.

Filter fabric selection

Standard type fabric, with a lower weight, is better suited where the waste fraction is in the form of shavings, chips or sawdust with limited dust content. Due to its lower flow resistance, it increases the "suction force" at the machine, which is especially important when processing wet wood. The Plus variant, on the other hand, will be a more apt choice for environments that generate fine particles, such as sanding dust, due to its increased filter material weight. The Plus variant provides better dust retention at the expense of increased flow resistance and the need for more frequent cleaning.

Both types of filter bags can be cleaned with compressed air and by washing.

Possibility of using foil bulk bags
