Cell sluice (colloquially cell) is also called a valve or cell dispenser, rotary, rotary or sector dispenser. With cell sluices, it is possible to operate cyclones on the vacuum side, as well as work in systems with filter stations.

The device is suitable for bulk raw materials such as sawdust, chips, dust, pellets, plastic pellets, regranulate, recyclate, paper and leather offcuts and others.

Cellular sluices are also used for batching materials (versions with reinforced rotor and a higher-powered drive for full-feed operation are available).

All sluices manufactured by MOVIMET AIR have a double peripheral shaft seal (which increases bearing life compared to competitive units).

It is possible to order an adapter from the rectangular connection of the cell sluice to a round connection of the indicated size (for example, the connection of the lower cyclone outlet).

The sluice is equipped with a system to mitigate rotor impact in case a large solid enters the device. The unit also has a rotor blockage sensor, which should be connected to the electrical system in such a way as to disconnect power to the unit when rotor blockage is detected.

The device is made in accordance with the ATEX directive (2014/34/EU) for operation in conditions where there is a potentially explosive zone inside the device (zone 21 or 22), and there is no explosion hazard outside the device.

It is possible to manufacture special variants, such as:

• of other materials,
• of other dimensions,
• with different motor power,
• with a different rotational speed,
• with additional equipment (for example, a speed sensor).
