More info

For small carpentry shops, grinding stations, etc., it is possible to use a filter station (dust collector) without using a cyclone.

Particularly often, filter towers are used on their own in dust aspiration plants, where the quantities of dust are relatively small, but must be removed from the workplace for health and safety reasons.

In the case of large quantities of transported material, a cyclone is installed before the filter station as a pre-separator.

The cyclone separates about 95% of the particles in the air to be cleaned, and the remaining finest particles are cleaned by the filter station.

Compared to the use of a cyclone alone, the advantage of using a filter station is that it captures almost 100 percent of the dust, allowing the cleaned air to be reintroduced onto the production floor. For this reason, the purchase of a filter station is usually an investment that pays for itself in the form of savings on heating the production hall. In addition, the lack of dust emission into the environment reduces the cost of environmental fees and reduces the potential dustiness of neighboring plots.

Filter stations can come in an unbuilt (for indoor operation only) or built-up (with outdoor operation) variant.

The fan can be installed in front of or behind the filter station, depending on the chosen variant.

Filter stations come in different variants for collecting sawdust and dust - they can be adapted for connecting textile bags, plastic bags, big-bags or can be equipped with a steel container on wheels.
