Cyclone with a diameter fi 500 mm is a device designed for mechanical separation of pollutants from the flowing air. The separation process is based on the principle of centrifugal force - the polluted air is put into a swirling motion, which causes the separation of heavier fractions, which then fall to the lower part of the device. The cleaned air stream is discharged through the top outlet.
Diameter fi 500 mm and a capacity of up to 2,400 m³/h - suitable for smaller dust collection systems in industrial plants.
Precisely designed inlet duct - improves air flow, reducing pressure loss and improving dust collection efficiency.
Capable of operating in positive-pressure (in all versions) and negative-pressure systems (in the case of the version with a return spiral and cell lock) - installation flexibility allows the unit to fit into different dust collection systems.
Reduced flow through the lower outlet - allows operation without the need for a cell lock (applies to positive pressure systems).
Efficient separation of sawdust and dust - improves air quality and reduces filter load downstream of the dust collection system.
Energy savings - optimized air flow reduces drag, resulting in lower energy consumption for the entire system.
Durable design - suitable for long-term operation in demanding industrial conditions.
Can be integrated with a filtration system - depending on the configuration, the air can be further filtered and returned to the production floor.
The device is most often used in wood processing plants, such as sawmills, carpenter shops or furniture factories, but also in plants that process waste and plastics. It can function as a stand-alone separator in a dust collection system, or be part of a larger installation that removes pollutants from the air.
Note: The cyclone is not a substitute for final filtration - the finest dust particles may not be fully separated, so in demanding applications it is worth using additional filters.
Thanks to its well-thought-out design, the device is an effective solution for industrial plants where it is necessary to efficiently separate sawdust and optimize the operation of dust collection systems.
